So while checking the Horse Eats Town MySpace today, I got tricked into clicking on same ads that said “Trilobite Beetle Video”. Unable to resist something so tempting, I clicked. And what that decision brought me to was what appears to be a collection of very seductive videos of exotic insects from a genius named QuaoArlo. All of these videos are pretty amazing. Each has some pretty happening and fitting background music, along with a scene that details a particular insects features, and what appears to be sex appeal. Take a look at some of my favorites:
Everything appears fine and good. Just quite possibly the creepiest beetle ever created, but notice at around :28 when it goes into a full couch-spread on its back. How did it know to pose like that? Did it take lessons? Just showing off the goods. The climax is at the end though. Really great film work. I thought this creature was a Godzilla mid-boss. Sure was wrong about that.
This little temptress is called a Vinegaroon. What is going on with that Siamese-twin Tellytubby clock? Watch closely as the Vinegaroon peeks out shyly from behind the timepiece in question, only to rock the faces of some nameless action-figures seconds later. What a tease. And what about that music? Dynamite.
All similarities to softcore pornography and jokes aside, these insect videos are really well put together. Check the rest of them out at QuaoArlo’s MySpace. There are a ton of really cool animals and insects to check out and more awesome videos.
