While I was searching for an image of Jackie Earle Haley to use as a supplement for Tom’s article about the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, I came across the most incredible pair of shoes ever.
Nike has a line of skateboarding shoes called SB Dunks, and at some point in time hey had a horror line. I can’t seem to find real good info on when exactly these shoes came out, if they ever it the market, or anything else really important. All I know is that I would love to have a pair of these.
What you can plainly see in the image above, is one of the most incredible shoes ever made. It has blood splatters and Freddy Krueger’s famous green and red colors. The insoles of the shoes have a “Freddy skin” texture. The only way these shoes could get any better is if they lit up.
You can buy these on Ebay for 140 dollars. A small price to pay for the finest footwear ever.
The Freddy Dunks were part of a horror set, including Jason Voorhees Dunks and Dawn of the Dead Dunks
. Both of these are pretty normal shoes and don’t make much of a connection to the films other than color choices.
